Main endemic foci of sporotrichosis

Sporotrichosis disease caused by Sporothrix schenckii, a telluric dimorphic fungus. With a worldwide geographic distribution the disease is frequent in the intertropical areas but predominant in Latin America (Mexico, Central America, Venezuela, Brazil).
