Main foci of malaria due to Plasmodium vivax

Malaria due to P. vivax is found worldwide, and the limits of the area of transmission are summer 16°c isotherm lines. In Africa, foci exist in Maghreb, in Central Sahara countries (Chad and Niger), and also in East Africa.
