Sea, sun, and ….dog ! Turists who walk barefoot or sundry directly on the sand are at risk to acquire creeping disease. This parasitic dead-end is caused by filariform infective larvae of dog’s hookworm. They enter quickly human skin, but are then unable to undergo further development.
