MIF composition includes iodine, so the features of the nucleus of genus Entamoeba are perfectly visible. The peripheral chromatine is arranged in fine granules evenly disposed, and the karyosome is central or subcentral. Entamoeba histolytica is the causative agent of amebiasis.
