Earthworm specimen

Unlike Ascaris lumbricoides, earthworms (Annelida, Oligochaeta) display a reddish metameric body, and the anterior tip does not have triple lip. Sometimes object of delusion of parasites, either by psychotic patients presenting Ekböm syndrome or by normal people who found the worm in toilets bowl where it arrived through sewer pipes.
