Capillaria sp. – Egg in human stools

Man is rarely parasitized by Capillaria sp. Lemon-shaped eggs that are closed by 2 mucous prominent caps are similar to those of Trichuris sp., but are larger in size (60-80 µm x 30-40 µm).
