Strongyloides stercoralis (threadworm) – Male adult and rhaditiform larva

The free-living Strongyloides stercoralis male is 0.7 mm long, and 36 µm to 40 µm wide. The posterior tip is mostly curved, hook-shaped, but sometimes may be coiled. It bears 2 copulatory spicules which are well apparent on this pic.
