Onchocerciasis – Thickened papular skin, or "sowda"

Sowda, which means “black” in Arabic, is a hyperreactive form of onchocerciasis. Skin of lower extremities is mostly involved, with hypekeratosis, papules and heterogenous pigmentary changes.
