Canine hookworm dermatitis – Creeping disease

Creeping disease is caused by a canine hookworm’s filariform larva migrating through the skin. Species involved are Ancylostoma braziliense, or A. caninum. The contamination occurs when Man comes into contact with ground polluted by canine fecal deposits. This disease frequently acquired on tropical beaches.
