Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm) – Adult female worm (1 cm to 1.5 cm long)

Enterobius vermicularis female worm has a pointed tail, which encompasses 1/3 of body. The uterus is distended by eggs. Both sexes have a mouth surrounded by 3 retractile lips.
