Cordylobia anthropophaga – Furuncular myiasis (Tumbu fly's maggot)

In this patient coming back from Senegal, a stage 3 larva (maggot) is close to be extracted from a furuncular-like lesion of the leg. The larva was previously asphyxiated using a petrol jelly ointment.
