Adult Cantharid beetle

Insect, Coleoptera, Cantharidae. Beetle colored in a nice metallic green, with glints of gold. Black, thread-like antennas. Flexuous, finely grained elytra, showing 2 longitudinal veins. Vesicatory insect that was formerly included in pharmacopeia given this peculiar quality.
