Neoscytalidium hyalinum - microscopic mrophology [lactophenol blue cotton]

This species (non-dermaotphytic mold) is endemic in tropical and subtropical areas where it may be responsible for 50% of all onychomycosis (scytalidiosis). Cultures produce septate hyaline hyphae with uni- or bicellular arthroconidia.
