Tinea capitis due to Microsporum langeronii

There is a unique patch of scaly alopecia (ringworm) on the scalp of this baby. The infected hair should fluoresce under Wood’s ultraviolet light. The mycological analysis identified Microsporum (dermatophytose) which has confirmed the dermatophytosis.
