Onychomycosis dermatophytosis of the toenail. Here all the different structures of the nail are infected. Nail matrix is invaded. Topical antifungal treatment must be  completed with an oral antifungal therapy. Trichophyton rubrum et Trichophyton mentagrophytes var. interdigitale are common causal agents.
