Tinea capitis: endothrix invasion due to Trichophyton soudanense [x200]

Drect examination of a small patch scaly alopecia. This type of hair parasitism is endothrix also called trichophytic invasion. Hair is totaly invaded by spores from 3 to 4 µm, in short chains.
