Tinea capitis: endothrix invasion due to Trichophyton soudanense

Direct examination of a small patch scaly alopecia. The type of hair parasitism is endothrix also called trichophytic invasion. Hair is totaly invaded by the spores, in chains, from 3 to 4 µm.
