Onychomycosis with leuconychia - Fusarium sp.

Proximal onychomycosis extending to the nail bed due to Fusarium species. It is associated to a light inflammation of the surrounding soft tissue (perionyxis). In cases of immunosuppression, this lesion can be at the origin of a dreadful haematogenous dissemination.
