Onychomycosis due to Onychocola canadensis

There is a total dystrophy of the nails of the right and left big toes. The clinical manifestations are in favor of a dermatophytic onychomycosis with thickening and whitish pigmentation. However, Onychocola canadensis infects exclusively the nails of old patients presenting vascular and trophic disorders.
