Talaromyces marneffei - microscopic examination

This photography shows, at the end of the conidiophores, a branched terverticillate metula. They are carring a cluster of lanceolate phialides ended by a narrow collar and, relatively lengthened. Each phialide produces a chain of round conidia, some of them, still remain, at the top of the collar.
