Tinea capitis : endothrix hair invasion - Trichophyton violaceum

The hair is burst, invaded with small round spores. It evokes an endothrix hair invasion or a tinea capitis due to a Trichophyton species. In this case, the examination of the scalp with a Wood lamp would be negative.
