Annellated conidiogenous cell and annellospores of Scopulariopsis brevicaulis.This picture illustrates the annellated conidiogenous cell production. The globose conidia with truncate base are produced in unbranched chains . The specialized conidiougenous cell called conidiophores are bulb shaped. A ringlike scar is observed at the extremity when conidia are released.
