Lymph node: Histoplasma capsulatum var. duboisii - apposition (MGG staining x100)

On this apposition of a lymph node, one can see large oval budding yeasts [7-15µm]. The base scar of the budding cells is narrow. All these elements are in favor of Histoplasma capsulatum var. duboisii.
