Onychocola canadensis - culture on Sabouraud agar medium (J50)

The colonies of Onychocola canadensis in culture are growing very slowly. After 4 weeks of incubation at 25°C, the growth is restricted; they are downy and white to grey. They are tolerant to cycloheximide Actidione®. Here the cultures lasted one month and a half. The growth is still limited and the pigmentation is dark gray. They are becoming cerebriform.
