Trichophyton soudanense - culture on Sabouraud agar medium

Trichophyton soudanense growth is quite slow (here 3 weeks). They are star-like with fringes of filaments in the periphery spreading into the medium. The surface pigmentation of the colony rust yellow or like a dry apricot is characteristic.
