Skin: basidiobolomycosis - Basidiobolus ranarum (Congo)

The lesions are usually settled on the start of the limbs (here the thigh) and look like a firm carboard plaque with clear edges. The diagnosis requires a collected sample analyzed with by direct examination and/or histopathology and culture.
