Talaromyces marneffei - saprophytic phase (SEM Scanning Electron Microscopy x3700)

Talaromyces marneffei (formerly Penicillium marneffei). The metula on the top of the conidiophore carry the short and wide phialides. The ellipsoidal conidia are smooth, disjoncted. They form irregular chains.
