Aspergillus sp. - filaments (phase contrast microscopy x400)

Typical aspect of Aspergillus hyphae at direct examination in a sample obtained from a patient with aspergillosis. They are regular in diameter, septate, parallel edged, dichotomously branched with acute angles.
