Dermatophytosis. Microsporum type of hair parasitism shows some hyphae into the hair difficult to perceive (endo-ectothrix), and an important thick layer of close spores all around the hair, from 2 to 3 µm in diameter. It is commonly due to M. canis in France or M. langeronii mostly in Africa.
