Dermatophytosis - onychomycosis - T. mentagrophytes var. interdigitale

In proximal subungual onychomycosis, the extension of the infection seems rapid. The diagnosis requires a subungual sample taken from the nail bed, at the border of the healthy and sick zones. Trichophyton mentagrophytes var. interdigitale was involved in this patient.
