Skin: mycetoma

Mycetoma. The cutaneous and subcutaneous tissues present multiple foci of suppuration, involving the lower limbs in most of the cases. The evolution is slow but serious, spreading slowly to contiguous bones. The mycetoma are caused by various bacteria or fungi where the presence of grains is characteristic.
