BAL: Pneumocystis jirovecii - cysts (MGG stain)

A mature cyst (6-7 µm) of Pneumocystis jirovecii containing 8 intracystic bodies is well stained. Next to the mature cyst, empty cysts are hardly seen, slightly coloured, stuck in a spumous masses.
