BAL: Pneumocystis jirovecii spumous clums of cysts and trophozoites (MGG stain)

With Giemsa staining all the stages of Pneumocystis jirovecii are well stained: trophozoites (1-3 µm), precysts (3-5 µm) and mature cysts (6-7 µm) containing 8 intracystic bodies. The differents stages are stuck in spumous clusters of various size.
