Microsporic ringworm of the scalp. Tinea capitis is responsible for tonsure on children’s head. There are stubs of broken hair close to the scalp. Large patches of non inflammatory scaly zones undergoing alopecia, from 1 to 5 cm diameter, rarely numerous.
