Trichophyton schoenleinii - culture on Sabouraud agar medium

On Sabouraud agar medium, this species grows very slowly and produces glabrous and irregularly folded to cerebriform colonies covered with a thin pale white fur, breaking into the agar, the reverse lacks pigment.
