Trichophyton soudanense - culture on Sabouraud agar medium

On Sabouraud medium, the growth is slow; glabrous colonies, star-shaped, folded into the medium and becoming cerebriform by aging. This surface pigmentation, “dry apricot-like” to orange from the front and the reverse is characteristic.
