Cryptococcus neoformans - culture on Sabouraud agar medium

Cryptococcus neoformans, one of the species responsible for cryptococcosis, on Sabouraud medium without cycloheximide. After 3 to 5 days of incubation (sometimes more) at 37°C, colonies are mucoid, shiny, well delimitated, white to cream coloured, within 1 week.
