Chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis

Patient with chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis. The unifying feature of the heterogeneous disorders is impaired cell-mediated immunity against Candida species. After an erythematous-scaly phase, the lesions are predominant on the scalp and the face, becoming verrucous then hyperkeratosic.
